The Industrial Situation Survey (ECI) is a qualitative survey, which collects the opinion of employers in the industry on the evolution of its business as well as their expectations and intentions. Framed in the common harmonized program of consumer surveys and integrated EU at the National Statistical Plan, its realization is mandatory and must be done following a public calendar. The main synthetic indicator that can be drawn from it is the Industrial Confidence Indicator (ICI).
