Public Administration web sites are obliged to comply with the accessibility criteria indicated in the UNE 139803:2012 standard. This standard establishes a series of features that all websites must comply with if they are to be accessible, as well as serving as the basis for the ICT Accessibility Certification (web accessibility) currently in effect in Spain.

Additionally, Administration web sites must comply with all the priority 2 verification points (Double A level adaptations) defined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ( WCAG 2.0 ) by the Web Accessibility Initiative ( WAI ) of the World Wide Web Consortium ( W3C ).

One of the main objectives of theMinistry of Industry, Trade and Tourism is to ensure that its website is as accessible and user-friendly as possible. In this respect, the site has been set up complying with the current standards and regulations related to accessibility. However, you may come across a page that has not been 100% adapted to these standards, since some of the sections in the portal are in the process of being edited and improved. One may access the browsing help contents by using shortcut keys or accesskey.

The use of this tool depends on the user's browser and operating system. Depending on the browser, the most frequent shortcuts use the following key combinations:

  • Internet Explorer: Alt + acceskey + Intro
  • Mozilla, Firefox and Chrome: Alt + acceskey (Firefox 2: Alt + Shift + acceskey)
  • Opera: Shift + Esc + acceskey
  • Safari: Cmd + acceskey
